Load Test Architect

We are seeking a Performance Load Test Architect / Lead to own and direct the enterprise-wide performance engineering and testing strategy for a large-scale enterprise transformation program. In this role, you will define testing governance, design complex workload models, oversee end-to-end performance execution across diverse enterprise platforms, and serve as the subject matter expert on system scalability, capacity planning, and performance diagnostics.

Strategy & Governance

• Define and own the overall enterprise performance engineering strategy, testing standards, methodologies, and quality governance.
• Establish Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and system acceptance criteria across core business workflows.
• Review enterprise solution architecture early in the SDLC to identify scalability bottlenecks, infrastructure limits, and architectural risks.
• Provide technical leadership for infrastructure sizing, cloud resource planning, and capacity modeling.

Performance Engineering Leadership

• Architect, lead, and direct performance testing across a complex enterprise ecosystem, including:
• SAP platforms (SAP BRIM, SAP Convergent Mediation, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Datasphere)
• Enterprise CRM platforms (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement)
• Enterprise middleware, messaging queues, and event-driven architectures
• REST/SOAP APIs, high-volume batch processing jobs, and billing/financial engines
• Digital channels including web portals, mobile applications, and IVR/chatbot platforms
• Define enterprise workload profiles for high-concurrency users, peak transaction volumes, batch settlement cycles, and customer service operations.
• Review, calibrate, and approve test plans, test scripts, workload distributions, and execution timelines.

Tooling, Automation & Monitoring

• Lead the implementation, administration, and optimization of NeoLoad as the enterprise performance testing platform.
• Design reusable scripting frameworks, robust data parameterization models, and automated performance regression pipelines.
• Architect end-to-end APM and observability strategies spanning application runtimes, database layers, middleware queues, and cloud/hybrid infrastructure.
• Conduct in-depth root-cause analysis on throughput drops, API latencies, JVM memory behavior, thread contention, and database query bottlenecks.
• Deliver performance dashboards, executive reporting, and actionable tuning recommendations to engineering leads and executive leadership.

• Total Experience: 12+ years of progressive IT experience.
• Specialized Experience: 8+ years dedicated to enterprise performance engineering and load testing, with at least 5+ years in a lead or architect capacity.
• Core Tooling: Expert-level mastery of NeoLoad (scripting, workload modeling, platform administration, and reporting).
• Enterprise ERP & Integration Expertise: Proven track record architecting performance test solutions across SAP ecosystems (SAP BRIM, SAP S/4HANA, SAP CM, SAP Datasphere) and enterprise CRM platforms.
• Testing Disciplines: Extensive background executing stress, volume, endurance/soak, spike, and failover/resiliency testing across distributed and cloud-hosted environments.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Official NeoLoad Certification.
• Associate- or Professional-level Cloud Certifications (AWS or Microsoft Azure).
• Hands-on experience with high-volume transactional billing and payment processing architectures., * Overall IT experience (Required 12 Years)
• Enterprise performance engineering and load testing experience (Required 8 Years)
• Leading enterprise performance testing initiatives (Required 5 Years)
• Expert-level experience with NeoLoad. (Required 1 Years)
• SAP BRIM, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Convergent Mediation (CM), SAP Datasphere, CRM platforms, APIs, middleware, and enterprise integrations (Required 1 Years)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. (Required 4 Years)
• NeoLoad certification (Highly Desired 1 Years)
• Cloud certifications (Azure or AWS) (Highly Desired 1 Years)

Engagement Details & Work Requirements

• Work Arrangement: Primarily remote within the Continental United States, with a mandatory requirement to attend onsite collaborative sessions in Central Pennsylvania approximately one week per month (covering Program Increment planning, solution alignment, system integration testing phases, and go-live readiness).
• Equipment & Onboarding: Standard corporate equipment will be issued in person during an onsite orientation day.
• Background Check Requirements: Candidate must successfully clear comprehensive statewide and national criminal history checks prior to engagement start.
• Position Type: Long-Term Contract
• Location: Remote / Hybrid (Requires approximately 1 week per month onsite in Central Pennsylvania)
