Computer Systems Architect

4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Computer Systems Architect to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards., The candidate will be responsible for:

1. Design and implement enterprise AWS cloud architectures, establishing foundational infrastructure patterns that support scalability, security, resilience, and performance.
2. Develop architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and implementation documentation while defining standards for cloud-native applications, APIs, microservices, serverless solutions, and event-driven systems.
3. Architect enterprise data platforms, analytics solutions, data integration ecosystems, and generative AI applications using Amazon Bedrock, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and knowledge base capabilities.
4. Establish architecture governance, security controls, and operational best practices while guiding implementation teams, resolving technical challenges, and optimizing cloud performance and cost through production deployment.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

10+ years of solution architecture experience, including large-scale AWS cloud platform design and implementation, enterprise architecture, cloud-native application design, data platform architecture, generative AI solutions, and technical leadership.

1. Experience designing enterprise-scale cloud solutions that support business transformation, application modernization, scalability, resilience, and operational efficiency across complex enterprise environments.
2. Experience architecting cloud-native business applications and digital services, including API integrations, microservices, serverless solutions, and event-driven workflows aligned with business requirements.
3. Experience supporting enterprise data platforms, analytics capabilities, data integration ecosystems, and Generative AI use cases, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), knowledge bases, and AI-enabled business applications.
4. Experience establishing enterprise architecture standards, governance, security controls, cost optimization practices, and operational guidelines while collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver solutions from architecture through production deployment.

Communication

Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.

Documentation

Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.

Work Authorization

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements., 1. Experience establishing enterprise architecture standards, reusable design patterns, security frameworks, and cloud governance practices.

1. Experience architecting and implementing generative AI solutions, including RAG workflows, knowledge bases, and AI-enabled applications.
