Network Optimisation & Integration Developer

• Design and develop Power Platform solutions to support regulatory self-assessment and compliance activities
• Build and enhance the CAF Portal for Ofgem/NIS capability assessments
• Develop solutions across Power Apps, Power Automate, and related Microsoft technologies
• Create user experiences, automated workflows, approval processes, notifications, and data-capture solutions
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate their needs into scalable technical solutions
• Produce technical documentation, testing evidence, and handover materials for long-term platform ownership
• Support integration with approved data sources and existing reporting capabilities
• Engage with senior stakeholders, including leadership and programme teams
• Help evolve the platform and ensure it remains supportable and maintainable for future expansion

• REST, We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Network Optimisation & Integration Developer focused on Microsoft Power Platform, supporting development of a Compliance Assessment Framework (CAF) Portal for managing and submitting self-assessments to Ofgem on Network & Information Systems capabilities. This hands-on role involves building scalable business applications, automating workflows, improving user experiences, and streamlining processes; reporting is part of the work but is not its sole focus. The role is based in Warwick, with two days per week onsite, and pays £550 per day inside IR35. It is a temporary three-month contract with strong extension potential, offering the opportunity to help shape a platform expected to evolve beyond the initial contract. • Strong commercial experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, including developing applications with Power Apps and configuring and developing Power Automate workflows
• Ability to work across the Power Platform, beyond Power BI reporting
• Strong stakeholder engagement and requirements-gathering skills
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions
• Knowledge of Power FX, DAX, and SQL querying
• Understanding of solution governance, security, and deployment best practices
• Experience producing technical documentation and supporting operational handovers
• Ideally, experience in regulated industries such as utilities, energy, or infrastructure
• Ideally, exposure to cybersecurity, compliance, governance, or risk management initiatives, and familiarity with regulatory frameworks and external regulators
• Ideally, experience with broader Microsoft technologies, including Azure integrations
• Ideally, knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modelling
• Ideally, experience incorporating AI or predictive capabilities into reporting or operational solutions
• Confidence engaging with stakeholders, willingness to challenge requirements when necessary, and ownership of delivering high-quality solutions
• Broad Power Platform expertise and willingness to work on a business-critical application
