Software Supportability Manager

The Role: This role is for a Software Supportability Manager-someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You’ll be results-oriented and driven to succeed. You’ll be leading a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:

• Providing specialised input on Software and Cyber-related topics and contributing to program IPS Element Plans.
• Defining concepts for software maintenance.
• Creating software support requirements and ensuring their integration into system design.
• Supporting the development of Software Support Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM), Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), and Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) activities.
• Assessing software obsolescence and the need for technology refresh.
• Preparing Software Maintenance Analysis Report, Software Support Analysis Report, and Software Support Case Report

• Engineering degree or a closely related discipline.
• Relevant supportability engineering in a highly regulated industry
• Understanding of the hardware, software, firmware, data and network infrastructure integrated solutions and environment for Defence products.
• Understanding of systems engineering principles.
