Boomi Integration & API Development Lead

Enterprise Integration Development

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise integrations using Boomi AtomSphere.
• Build real-time, event-driven, scheduled, and batch integrations.
• Integrate enterprise applications such as SAP, Salesforce, Workday, Oracle, ServiceNow, and SQL databases.
• Develop reusable integration frameworks, common components, error-handling mechanisms, and logging solutions.
• Work with REST, SOAP, SFTP, JDBC, JSON, XML, and other integration technologies.
• Implement data mapping, transformation, validation, routing, and orchestration.
• Troubleshoot complex integration failures and optimize process performance.

API Development & Management

• Design and develop RESTful APIs using Boomi API capabilities.
• Build API-based integrations using GET, POST, PUT, PATCH, and DELETE methods.
• Work with API specifications, OpenAPI/Swagger, request/response schemas, and API versioning.
• Implement API authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0, JWT, API keys, and certificates.
• Integrate Boomi services with API gateways such as Kong, Apigee, or similar platforms.
• Understand API gateway routing, upstream services, rate limiting, request transformation, and security policies.
• Handle API error responses, timeouts, retries, pagination, and performance optimization.
• Support API testing using Postman and other API testing tools.

Integration Architecture & Platform

• Design scalable, secure, reliable, and reusable integration solutions.
• Work with Boomi Atom, Molecule, runtime environments, deployment, and environment extensions.
• Understand cloud-to-cloud, cloud-to-on-premises, and hybrid integration patterns.
• Apply asynchronous messaging, queue-based integration, and event-driven architecture concepts.
• Implement centralized logging, monitoring, alerting, and exception management.
• Follow integration security, configuration management, and deployment best practices.

Technical Leadership & Delivery

• Lead offshore Boomi developers and provide technical guidance.
• Conduct solution design reviews, code reviews, and troubleshooting sessions.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, application teams, and infrastructure teams.
• Own integration development activities from requirements gathering through production deployment.
• Manage technical dependencies, development estimates, deliverables, and defect resolution.
• Support production incidents, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain integration design documents, technical specifications, SOPs, and deployment documentation.

Experience: 8-12+ years in IT, including 5+ years of Boomi integration experience Domain: Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences (Preferred)

We are looking for an experienced Boomi Integration & API Development Lead to design, develop, and manage enterprise integrations and API solutions across multiple business applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Boomi AtomSphere, REST/SOAP APIs, API management, integration architecture, and production support. The candidate will be responsible for driving end-to-end integration delivery, providing technical leadership, ensuring solution scalability and security, and coordinating with onsite and offshore teams., * Strong hands-on expertise in Boomi AtomSphere integration development.

• Strong experience developing and consuming REST/SOAP APIs.
• Experience with API management and API gateway concepts.
• Strong knowledge of JSON, XML, SQL, data transformation, and integration patterns.
• Experience with OAuth 2.0, JWT, SSL/TLS, and certificate-based security.
• Experience with Boomi deployment, runtime management, error handling, and monitoring.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and technical problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading developers and coordinating end-to-end integration delivery.

Preferred Skills

• Kong API Gateway and API lifecycle management.
• AWS services, including API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, and cloud integrations.
• SAP, Workday, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Oracle integrations.
• Grafana, centralized logging, and observability.
• CI/CD, Git, and automated deployments.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences environments, including GxP and validated systems.
