• Design and build agentic workflows that operate against operational data, including tool and function interfaces, retrieval strategies, evaluation frameworks, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop approval processes.

• Design and implement entity and object schemas within a custom ORM-style data framework, including authorization and validation rules.

• Build full-stack web applications using Next.js, React, TypeScript, API routes, and modern frontend patterns.

• Develop interfaces that allow users to review, approve, and correct agent-initiated actions.

• Build and extend integrations with enterprise systems of record, including automation, reporting, custom objects, triggers, mutation logic, and validation workflows.

• Define API contracts, data migration strategies, rollback plans, and conflict-resolution approaches for systems operating in parallel.

• Partner with business and operations stakeholders to identify manual processes and implement automated or agent-driven solutions.

• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure operational data is accurately processed and exposed to applications and AI agents.

• Create automated testing and CI/CD coverage to ensure reliability and functional parity.

• Troubleshoot production issues and participate in an on-call rotation supporting internal tools.

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.

• Experience with modern React frameworks, preferably Next.js.

• Proven experience building production LLM-powered applications and features.

• Experience with tool calling, function calling, retrieval systems, prompt engineering, context engineering, and evaluating non-deterministic AI outputs.

• Strong SQL skills and relational data modeling expertise.

• Experience with GraphQL schema design, ORM frameworks, entity-modeling frameworks, or similar data-layer technologies.

• Experience integrating enterprise or third-party APIs into production applications.

• Experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools as part of the daily development workflow.

• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, development, testing, deployment, and support.

• Demonstrated ability to independently own projects from concept through delivery.

• Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.

• Excellent written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with agent frameworks, agent orchestration platforms, or multi-step tool-using systems.

• Experience building evaluation and regression testing frameworks for LLM-based applications.

• Hands-on experience developing on CRM or ERP platforms.

• Experience with data warehouse technologies such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Spark, Hive, or similar platforms.

• Experience with event-streaming and messaging technologies such as Kafka, Pulsar, Kinesis, or similar systems.

• Experience building internal business operations applications, workflow platforms, approval systems, budgeting tools, or finance-related tooling.

• Experience supporting CRM migration initiatives or modernizing legacy operational platforms.
