Senior Coupa Administrator & Integration Consultant

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Coupa Administrator & Integration Consultant for one of our clients who is a rapidly growing biotechnology and life sciences organization. In this role you will support a large-scale financial systems consolidation initiative. This individual will serve as the primary functional expert for the Coupa platform, partnering closely with business stakeholders, IT leaders, system architects, and offshore support teams to optimize procurement processes, maintain system integrity, and drive platform enhancements. The ideal candidate has deep, hands-on Coupa administration experience, strong Procure-to-Pay (P2P) expertise, and a thorough understanding of integrations between Coupa and ERP systems such as NetSuite. This is a highly visible role supporting critical business operations and strategic platform consolidation efforts. Responsibilities Coupa Administration & Configuration * Serve as the primary functional administrator and subject matter expert for the Coupa platform. * Configure and maintain approval workflows, business rules, forms, catalogs, suppliers, user roles, and system settings. * Support core Coupa modules including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Invoicing, Supplier Management, and Vendor Administration. * Perform testing, deployment validation, and support quarterly Coupa releases. * Recommend best-practice configurations to improve business processes and platform performance. Procure-to-Pay Operations * Support end-to-end procurement workflows from vendor setup through invoice processing. * Manage domestic and international vendor creation processes. * Ensure procurement processes align with business requirements and compliance standards. * Analyze downstream impacts of configuration changes across procurement and financial systems. Financial Systems Consolidation * Play a key role in a major financial systems consolidation initiative involving multiple Coupa environments. * Assess current-state configurations and identify opportunities to streamline processes across business units. * Support the migration and harmonization of procurement workflows, suppliers, and approval structures. * Conduct solution validation and smoke testing prior to production releases. Integrations & Data Management * Support and troubleshoot integrations between Coupa and NetSuite. * Collaborate with integration teams supporting tools such as Celigo, Boomi, MuleSoft, or similar middleware platforms. * Monitor and validate data accuracy across suppliers, master data, chart of accounts, and approval hierarchies. * Understand and document data flow across systems from initiation through financial reporting. Stakeholder Support & Process Improvement * Partner directly with business owners, IT Business Partners, and system architects to understand requirements and develop solutions. * Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming Coupa-related requests and enhancements. * Coordinate with offshore support resources to troubleshoot issues and implement improvements. * Provide recommendations for process optimization and platform enhancements.

• 6+ years of hands-on Coupa administration experience.
• Experience with Coupa Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
• Experience supporting integrations between Coupa and ERP platforms, preferably NetSuite.
• Experience working with third-party integration tools such as Celigo, Boomi, MuleSoft or SuiteApps
• Ability to analyze business processes, identify root causes, and recommend scalable solutions.
• Coupa Certification.
• Experience supporting a SOX-controlled or regulated environment.
• Prior involvement in platform consolidations, mergers, acquisitions, or multi-instance Coupa environments.
• Experience resolving regulatory or compliance-related procurement requirements through system configuration.
• Biotechnology, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences industry experience.
