  • Contribute to embedded system design, including communication between multiple circuit boards and implementation of diagnostic functionality.
  • Assist with prototype development, hardware initialization, board-level testing, and integration of new electronic designs.
  • Analyze and resolve complex firmware defects, hardware communication failures, and system integration challenges.
  • Create internal engineering tools and utilities to streamline product testing, manufacturing operations, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Improve firmware quality through automated testing, continuous integration workflows, and hardware-in-the-loop test environments.
  • Perform code reviews, investigate software defects, and verify firmware readiness before production releases.
  • Provide technical support throughout manufacturing, product deployment, and ongoing field maintenance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable engineering field.

  • Proficiency in C and C++ programming for resource-constrained embedded environments.
  • Hands-on experience with ARM Cortex-M processor architectures and microcontroller peripherals.
  • Working knowledge of bare-metal programming and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
  • Experience taking embedded products from prototype development and hardware initialization to production deployment.
  • Ability to perform low-level hardware and firmware analysis using oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and similar diagnostic equipment.
  • Familiarity with serial and network communication interfaces, including UART, SPI, I2C, USB, and Ethernet.
  • Experience using Git-based version control, automated build systems, unit testing, and firmware verification tools.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and interpersonal communication skills.

Additional Preferred Experience

  • Embedded Linux development or Android Open Source Project (AOSP).
  • Integration of wireless communication technologies, including Wi-Fi and LTE.
  • Hardware-in-the-loop testing and automated firmware validation.
