Performance Engineer

· SiteScope Strong understanding of application architecture, middleware, APIs, and backend systems Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills Roles and Responsibilities · Gather and analyze Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) and performance SLAs. · Develop comprehensive performance test strategies, plans, and workload models. · Design and develop performance test scripts using LoadRunner and JMeter. · Execute load, stress, endurance, scalability, and capacity tests. · Monitor application, database, and infrastructure performance during test execution. · Analyze CPU, memory, disk I/O, network, and application performance metrics. · Perform detailed performance diagnostics for HP NonStop and Mainframe applications. · Identify performance bottlenecks and provide tuning recommendations. · Work closely with Development, Infrastructure, Middleware, DBA, and Architecture teams to resolve issues. · Prepare performance test reports, analysis findings, and executive summaries. · Support production performance assessments and capacity planning activities. · Participate in performance triage calls and drive issue resolution. HP NonStop / Mainframe Responsibilities · Performance analysis and tuning of HP NonStop applications. · Experience with NonStop SQL and system resource monitoring. · Analyze transaction processing performance across NonStop environments. · Strong understanding of Mainframe batch and online transaction processing. · Monitor and optimize CICS regions, DB2 databases, and batch workloads. · Conduct throughput and response-time analysis for mission-critical applications. · Collaborate with infrastructure teams to improve system efficiency and capacity.

We are seeking an experienced Performance Testing & Performance Engineering professional with a minimum of 8 years of experience in performance testing, performance analysis, and application tuning. The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on expertise in HP NonStop systems, Mainframe technologies, and enterprise-scale performance engineering engagements. The candidate will be responsible for designing and executing performance test strategies, identifying bottlenecks, conducting root cause analysis, and working closely with development, infrastructure, middleware, and business teams to ensure system scalability, stability, and reliability. Roles & Responsibilities 8+ years of experience in Performance Testing and Performance Engineering Strong experience with HP NonStop (Tandem) systems Strong experience working with Mainframe environments (COBOL, CICS, DB2, IMS, JCL) Hands-on expertise in LoadRunner / Performance Center Strong knowledge of workload modeling and performance test planning Expertise in Load, Stress, Endurance, Volume, and Scalability testing Experience analyzing performance metrics and identifying system bottlenecks Strong SQL and database performance analysis skills Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as: · Dynatrace · Splunk, · Banking or Financial Services domain experience · Experience with CI/CD and performance automation · Python or Shell scripting knowledge · Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology · Exposure to cloud-based performance testing environments · Knowledge of Kafka, MQ, and API performance testing
