System Administrator

Our client is seeking a hands-on Systems Administrator to support a critical infrastructure integration initiative following a recent acquisition. The organization is nearing completion of an Active Directory and Microsoft 365 migration and needs a highly skilled individual contributor who can make an immediate impact., * Lead efforts related to a post-acquisition Active Directory migration and domain consolidation

• Support the transition of users between multiple domains and Microsoft 365 environments
• Manage and administer Microsoft 365 services including:
• Exchange Online
• Azure AD / Entra ID
• User and mailbox administration
• Licensing and identity management
• Assist with final user migrations, email transitions, and historical data access requirements
• Evaluate existing infrastructure and provide recommendations for improvements, security, and operational efficiency
• Troubleshoot complex systems, authentication, and user access issues
• Serve as a technical resource for infrastructure and endpoint support across the organization
• Perform hands-on laptop deployment, configuration, and migration activities for approximately 60 internal users
• Collaborate closely with Operations leadership while functioning as a true individual contributor
• Ensure alignment with security and compliance requirements following a recent security audit

This role requires a strong problem solver who is comfortable evaluating existing environments, making recommendations, and driving technical solutions with minimal oversight. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Active Directory, Microsoft 365 administration, endpoint management, and systems engineering while maintaining excellent communication skills., * 5+ years of experience in Systems Administration, xrbllit Infrastructure Engineering, or Microsoft 365 Administration

• Strong experience with:
• Active Directory migrations
• Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID
• Microsoft 365 Administration
• Exchange Online
• Windows administration and endpoint support
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or domain consolidation projects
• Ability to assess technical environments and make strategic recommendations
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Comfortable working independently with minimal direction
• Experience supporting end-user hardware and laptop deployments
