Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph Type: Full-time Location: VirginiaBase Pay: $105,900 to $233,900, depending on levelThe Opportunity Join a mission-focused team as the engineer responsible for building and running a secure, high-performing network across on-prem and cloud environments. Requirements

  • Hands-on with Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Palo Alto, or Fortinet gear, including Cisco CLI and GUI
  • Deep routing and switching knowledge (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS)
  • Cloud networking experience (VPCs, VNets, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute)
  • Strong communication with people at every level
  • Solid grasp of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and NAC
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD or schematic capture tools
  • Ability to read network diagrams, cable run lists, electrical schematics, and power requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly

Nice to Have

  • Certs such as CCIE (a big plus), CCNP, JNCIE, PCNSE, AWS Advanced Networking, CISSP, or ITIL v4
  • Monitoring tools like SolarWinds, Nagios, Wireshark, or NetFlow
  • Government, defense, or regulated industry background
  • SDN and SD-WAN experience
  • ITIL and change management
  • Master’s degree
