SAS Developer

We are looking for a skilled SAS Developer to develop, maintain, and optimize SAS programs for data analysis, reporting, and statistical processing. The candidate will work with business analysts, data analysts, and other technical teams to deliver accurate and reliable data solutions. Roles and Responsibilities Develop, test, and maintain SAS programs for data processing and reporting. Write SAS code using DATA steps, PROC SQL, and SAS procedures. Extract, transform, and load data from multiple data sources. Perform data cleaning, validation, manipulation, and analysis. Develop reports and generate business insights. Optimize SAS programs to improve performance and efficiency. Debug existing programs and resolve data-related issues. Work with large datasets and relational databases. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements. Prepare technical documentation and follow coding standards. Perform unit testing and support production deployments. Required Technical Skills SAS Base Programming SAS Macro Programming SAS SQL / PROC SQL DATA Step Programming SAS procedures such as PROC SORT, PROC FREQ, PROC MEANS, and PROC REPORT Data manipulation and transformation SQL and database concepts Data validation and quality checks Debugging and performance optimization Preferred Skills SAS Enterprise Guide SAS Enterprise Guide or SAS Studio SAS/STAT SAS Viya Unix/Linux scripting Experience with Oracle, Teradata, or SQL Server databases Knowledge of banking, healthcare, insurance, or pharmaceutical data is an advantage.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in SAS development or data analytics. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
