Role Description

Montreal Blockchain Lab is seeking a Blockchain Specialist to work remotely from Spain. The successful candidate will research blockchain technologies, support the design and implementation of decentralized solutions, and collaborate on technical projects involving smart contracts, distributed systems, and emerging Web3 applications.

Responsibilities

• Research blockchain platforms, protocols, and emerging technologies
• Support the design and implementation of blockchain applications
• Analyze smart contracts and decentralized application architectures
• Assist with blockchain integrations, APIs, and distributed systems
• Evaluate blockchain security, scalability, and performance
• Research tokenization, digital assets, and Web3 use cases
• Collaborate with developers, researchers, and technology consultants
• Document technical specifications and project findings
• Troubleshoot blockchain application and integration issues
• Stay informed about blockchain research and industry developments

Qualifications

• Experience in blockchain development, software engineering, or technology consulting
• Strong understanding of distributed ledger technology
• Familiarity with Ethereum, Solidity, or other smart contract platforms
• Knowledge of APIs, databases, and application integration
• Understanding of blockchain security and consensus mechanisms
• Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with Web3 development tools is an advantage
• Excellent technical documentation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Compensation

€110,000-€135,000 gross per year, depending on experience, technical expertise, and qualifications.
