Architect Domain IoT

• Define and drive the IoT/OT domain architecture and roadmap for unified sensor-to-cloud communication across Danfoss Climate Solutions
• Establish common communication protocols and integration standards across product lines, including MQTT, RS485, Modbus TCP, BACnet and Sparkplug
• Design data ontologies and semantic models to enable interoperability and consistent data usage across the organization
• Develop and validate Proof of Concepts and Lighthouse projects, translating architectural concepts into scalable solutions
• Collaborate with R&D, product management, IT and cybersecurity teams to ensure alignment, security and successful adoption

• Strong experience in IoT/OT architecture and in designing device-to-cloud solutions within industrial, building automation or similar environments
• Solid hands-on knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as MQTT, RS485, Modbus TCP and BACnet; experience with Sparkplug is a plus
• Experience with data ontologies and semantic modelling frameworks such as Google Digital Buildings, Project Haystack, Brick Schema or similar
• A hands-on technical mindset, with the ability to develop PoCs, configure systems and troubleshoot integration challenges
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive alignment across complex, international organizations
• Experience with edge computing, cloud IoT platforms or HVAC/refrigeration systems is considered an advantage
