Remote System Administrator (Remote)

Position Summary We are seeking a talented System Administrator to join our team.In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and managing our software, hardware, and networks.You will play a crucial part in ensuring our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.System Administrator Responsibilities - Install and configure software, hardware, and services.- Manage cloud solutions, servers, and networks.- Implement and maintain security measures, including access control lists and firewalls.- Manage backup and recovery systems.- Monitor system performance and conduct necessary maintenance.- Plan and procure technical equipment and software subscriptions.- Provide expert guidance on system options, requirements, and cost-benefit analysis.- Establish and maintain an internal documentation portal.- Plan and implement system enhancements.- Handle user onboarding and offboarding.- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.Skills and Qualifications - Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role.- Strong knowledge of Windows (administrator level), and Linux (experienced user level).- Proficiency with virtualization, primarily Microsoft Hyper-V.- Expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, and Enterprise Application Deployment.- Solid networking experience (firewalls, routing, VLANs, ACLs, VPN, Wireless APs, etc.).- Familiarity with Atlassian Stack (Jira Cloud / Confluence Cloud).- Experience with backup/recovery software tools or services.- Basic RDBMS administration and SQL skills.- Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for task automation.- Experience using modern AI tools (e.G., ChatGPT, Codex, Microsoft Copilot, etc.) to improve productivity, automate routine administrative tasks, assist with scripting, troubleshooting, documentation, and system administration where appropriate.- Strong English language skills (company’s official language).- Understanding of SSL/TLS certificates.- BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline; professional certification (e.G., Microsoft, Azure, or networking certifications) is a plus.Bonus Skills (optional, but would be a plus) - Experience with cloud providers (Azure, Digital Ocean).- Mikrotik expertise (firewall, VPN, mangle, site-to-site tunnels).- Basic DevOps skills (Git/SVN, Jenkins, Docker).- Familiarity with website management control panels (CloudFlare, cPanel).- Web application security knowledge.Ideal Personality We’re looking for someone who is:- Analytical and detail-oriented- A creative problem-solver- An efficient communicator- Positive and self-motivated- Eager to learn and share knowledge- Able to work independently and manage multiple deadlines- Passionate about technology and continuous improvement Benefits You Will Enjoy - Full-time position (mix of onsite and remote).- Competitive package.- Career path in a technology company with many talented people.About Esprow Esprow is a highly innovative and fast-growing technology company with some of the world’s highest profile financial institutions as our clients.Working with us, you will be exposed to innovative and cutting-edge technologies and be involved throughout the application development cycle.Our Esprow Enterprise Testing Platform (ETP) is unique in the market for API lifecycle management, and automated certification, testing, and simulation of financial trading solutions.With a presence in New York, London, Singapore, and Tokyo, we deliver our technology to clients across the globe.If you are interested, please reply with your latest CV, along with your current and expected compensation package to (email protected)
