AI/ML Engineer

Our client is seeking an experienced AI/ML Engineer to develop full-stack applications supporting federal technology initiatives. This role will work across generative AI, APIs, databases, and modern web technologies while collaborating with data science and prototyping teams to deliver secure, scalable software solutions in an Agile environment., * Design and implement custom software applications supporting AI/ML pilot programs and use cases, including generative AI technologies such as Google Gemini.

• Build and integrate APIs, including RESTful services, authentication, data formats, and error handling.
• Evaluate SQL and NoSQL database technologies and select appropriate solutions based on application requirements.
• Integrate relational and NoSQL databases within applications when appropriate while applying database security best practices.
• Collaborate with prototyping teams to develop and deliver working software solutions on accelerated timelines.
• Solve complex technical challenges by developing innovative approaches using appropriate technologies, methodologies, tools, and solution components.
• Participate throughout the Agile development lifecycle, including release and sprint planning, testing, demonstrations, and retrospectives.

• U.S. Citizenship and ability to successfully complete the required federal background investigation.
• BA/BS and 7 years of related experience, or equivalent.
• Ability to evaluate complex technical problems and develop innovative solutions in a fast-paced software prototyping environment.
• Experience with multiple development languages and technologies, including YAML, JSON, Python, Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Full-stack development experience with proficiency in front-end development using Angular as well as back-end development, including user interfaces, servers, and databases.
• Experience collaborating with Data Science teams to integrate applications with AI/ML, Big Data, or Business Intelligence solutions.
• Ability to independently manage complex technical assignments with limited direction or oversight.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with live data or video streams.
• Technical certifications such as AWS Certified Developer Associate.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD platforms such as GitLab.
• Experience developing AI/ML or advanced predictive analytics solutions.
• Experience working with geographically dispersed or remote teams. xrbllit
