Provide a short description of the Position: Continuing Medicaid Eligibility Modernization The Software Analyst will work under the guidance of Testing Lead for the Continuing Medicaid Eligibility Modernization Program to support the implementation of this high-profile Department of Health (DOH) initiative in fast-paced iterations. Within the SDLC, the Software Analyst will take an active role in the business and technical aspects of testing and validating the design and solution developed to meet business needs, creating test plans and test cases, identifying functional defects, performing regression testing, assisting with UAT, and creating other quality assurance documents for the project. Provide a list of the day-to-day tasks to be performed by the Selected Candidate: Automating test scripts creation/executions. Test data set creation. Writing and executing Test Cases. Researching, resolving, and testing production/UAT defects. Participating in all phases of the Systems development life cycle including Application Testing (Unit, Functional, Integration, User Acceptance Testing) and Performance Testing. Review Requirement documents. Perform Solution Exploration. Perform User Acceptance Testing. Perform Regression Testing. Position Mandatory Qualification Studies the software application domain, prepares software requirements, and specification documents. Liaises between the software users and the software developers. Conveys the demands of software users to the developers. Skills include: working knowledge of software technology; computer programming experience/expertise; general business knowledge; problem solving/reduction skills; interpersonal relation skills; flexibility and adaptability. Position Requested Qualifications 84 months of experience working on complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, cross-functional teams, integrated systems or applications, formal project governance, and multiple testing phases. Experience must include two (2) or more years in a leadership role as a Testing Analyst that includes preparing documentation, reviews, and approvals of test results from key stakeholders using industry standard methods. 84 months of client focused quality assurance managing testing across multiple enterprise level projects that are mission-critical, highly visible to executive leadership or external stakeholders, have significant organizational or public impact, involve multiple business units or agencies, and require coordination across with complex functional domains, within a matrix organization. 60 months of experience developing test plans, test cases, tracking defects and developing automated tests, preferably in a software development environment. 60 months of experience with tools such as Jira, Jira-related plug-ins or Application Lifecycle Management/Quality Center as the defect tracking and test planning tools. 60 months of experience with configuring automated testing using tools such as Selenium or Katalon Studio or related tools. 36 months of experience leading and managing functional test planning and test execution activities with a focus on Health and Human Service domain. Bachelor’s Degree with coursework in Information Technology or related fields.
