Job description

Design and deliver scalable full stack software solutions that power Moody’s enterprise platforms, cloud-native systems and analytics workflows.

  • Design and implement full stack features, including backend services, APIs, data integrations and responsive Angular or React user interface components
  • Develop cloud-native services and serverless applications using C# and .NET Core, Python and FastAPI on AWS Lambda, SQS and AWS Batch, and help evolve the AWS environment, deployment processes and continuous integration and delivery pipelines
  • Own the architecture and technical direction of your domain, evaluating trade-offs, documenting key decisions, managing technical debt and ensuring alignment with platform, security and architecture standards
  • Write technical specifications and estimates that translate product goals and user experience direction into clear engineering plans, and connect technical work to business outcomes
  • Build reusable frameworks, libraries and shared components that accelerate development across engineering teams while ensuring strong code quality, test coverage and performance validation
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, quality assurance, DevOps, program management and global engineering teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
  • Analyze and resolve complex production issues, lead through incidents and critical deliveries, identify root causes and drive improvements to system stability, scalability and availability
  • Champion artificial intelligence-assisted development by setting standards for how the team uses AI tools, evaluate where large language model and agentic capabilities add real value to our platforms, lead code reviews and technical discussions, and mentor engineers to foster a culture of continuous improvement

About the Team Our Moody’s Analytics Software Engineering team is responsible for building and maintaining the enterprise platforms, cloud-native systems and analytics workflows that power Moody’s data and intelligence solutions. We operate at the intersection of technology and financial risk, delivering scalable, high-quality software that serves clients and internal stakeholders globally. By joining our team, you will contribute to innovative engineering work that embraces artificial intelligence, modern cloud infrastructure and agile delivery practices to drive meaningful business impact and operational excellence across Moody’s Analytics.
