Web Back End Programmer

Good things come to those who wait patience is a virtue…blah, blah, blah. We need someone ASAP in our Web department and we don’t mean two months from now. We’re ACTIVELY seeking an experienced Back End Programmer to work within our Web department to create back end programs to interact with the company websites and build user interface applications. Think you’ve got what it takes?

• Highly advanced knowledge of PHP, ability to create PHP based applications from the ground up, including mysql database creation, schema & management required
• Must have 4 years of experience creating large scale PHP based applications in an apache/ LAMP environment that are constantly upgradeable & intuitive. Applications that are constantly being improved upon.
• Must be well versed in current internet trends and have a love and passion for all things web, including knowledge of semantic xhtml, w3c standards, css and javascript

• Create back end programs/scripts to interact with the company websites. Involves integration of Php scripting, Mysql scripting, html/css scripting and bug testing.

• Builds user interface applications and back-end databases using various programming and scripting languages.
• Assist with idea generation for new and improved features that will enhance the user experience.
• Makes suggestions on creating Web-based technical standards for specific Web sites and the company as a whole.
• Conceptualizes long-term needs of Web development, and plans and manages related projects.

Here are the qualifications we’re looking for in the newest member of our Web team:

• Advanced knowledge of the following is required: Linux Operating Systems TCP/IP networking PHP language Flash Action Scripting My SQL Perl AJAX HTML.
• Minimum of 3 years experience within a like position.
