Full Stack Developer (React.js / Java) :: Plano, TX (Fully Onsite)

The selected candidate will support the Card Benefits team, which manages credit card benefits and customer enrollment processes. The team develops and maintains applications that enable customers to access, enroll in, and manage their credit card benefits. The ideal candidate will have strong full-stack development experience, with a greater emphasis on frontend development using React.js and JavaScript, complemented by backend development using Java and Spring Boot., * Design, develop, and maintain responsive, scalable frontend applications using React.js and JavaScript.

• Build reusable UI components and implement efficient application workflows.
• Develop and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services and APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features supporting credit card benefits and customer enrollment.
• Work with AWS cloud services such as ECS, EKS, Lambda, or other AWS services to support application deployment and operations.
• Troubleshoot application issues, improve performance, and ensure code quality.
• Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude to improve development productivity.
• Independently manage development tasks and contribute across the full application stack.

1. Frontend Development 60% * Strong hands-on experience with React.js. * Strong proficiency in JavaScript. * Experience building reusable UI components and responsive web applications. * Ability to implement frontend business logic and integrate REST APIs. * Strong understanding of component-based development and frontend application architecture.

2. Backend Development 40% * Strong hands-on experience with Java. * Experience developing backend applications and REST APIs using Spring Boot. * Understanding of backend business logic, application integration, and API development. * Ability to troubleshoot and maintain backend services.

3. AWS Cloud Experience * Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services. * Experience with any of the following services is acceptable: Amazon ECS, Amazon EKS, AWS Lambda, or other AWS services.

4. AI-Assisted Development * Experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude. * Ability to leverage AI tools to support coding, debugging, and development productivity.

5. Full-Stack Development * Ability to work independently across frontend and backend applications. * Strong problem-solving and coding skills. * Ability to understand requirements and deliver end-to-end application features., * Frontend Focus: React.js, JavaScript, UI development, component design, and API integration. * Backend Focus: Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and backend problem-solving. * Additional Evaluation: AWS fundamentals, full-stack ownership, and practical use of AI-assisted development tools., The ideal candidate is a hands-on Full Stack Developer with strong React.js and JavaScript expertise, solid Java and Spring Boot experience, and practical AWS exposure. The candidate should be comfortable working in a frontend-heavy role, with approximately 60% frontend development and 40% backend development, and should be able to independently build and support end-to-end application features.
