Job description

• Build, test, and maintain responsive websites and web applications using technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate mockups and wireframes into functional, interactive websites.
• Apply code optimization and load-time reduction practices to improve performance and scalability.
• Identify and resolve code issues affecting website functionality.
• Ensure websites function smoothly across browsers and devices.
• Write and maintain clear technical documentation for code and development processes.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ability to pass a federal background check.
• Must possess a SECRET personnel security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience; or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of the degree.
• HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Responsive web development.
• Testing and troubleshooting.
• Performance optimization.
• Collaboration with UI/UX designers.
• Technical documentation., Prior experience with the U.S. Department of State is preferred.
