Senior Software Engineer- Sr Java Full Stack Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Full Stack Developer to support the development of a highly scalable, cloud-native payment orchestration platform. The platform will enable cardholders to seamlessly access digital services directly through their banking applications using a streamlined integration architecture.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in full-stack development, microservices, AWS cloud technologies, Kubernetes, API integration, infrastructure automation, and modern cloud-native engineering practices.

Experience: 8 12+ Years

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience

Important: Only candidates who are currently located in or near O’Fallon, Missouri and are comfortable working in a hybrid environment will be considered., * 8 12+ years of software engineering/full-stack development experience.

• Strong backend development experience with Java and/or Golang.
• Experience developing scalable, domain-driven microservices and REST APIs.
• Experience with Python FastAPI is highly desirable.
• Strong frontend development experience using Angular and/or React.
• Experience integrating backend APIs with mobile applications or mobile SDKs.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Experience deploying and operating applications using AWS ECS and Fargate.
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native application architectures.
• Experience with AWS Graviton/ARM64 environments is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.
• Strong understanding of API orchestration, distributed systems, microservices architecture, scalability, and reliability.
• Experience troubleshooting applications across frontend/mobile, backend APIs, cloud infrastructure, and runtime environments.

AI / Cloud-Native Experience

• Experience integrating AI-powered or AI-native capabilities into enterprise applications is preferred.
• Exposure to Amazon Bedrock is highly desirable.
• Experience with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Runtime is an added advantage.
• Ability to troubleshoot integrations across mobile, backend, AWS infrastructure, and AI runtime layers.
