Lead Business Intelligence Engineer

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models supporting Healthcare Quality, HEDIS, Pharmacy (Rx), and Medical Claims initiatives.
• Extend existing analytic products and partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable reporting solutions.
• Develop and optimize DAX, SQL, and data models for performance.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to leverage Snowflake and other enterprise data sources.
• Support testing, deployments, issue resolution, and ongoing enhancements.
• Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and best practices guidance to team members.
• Deliver high-quality reporting and analytics solutions on schedule.
• Build scalable, performant, and maintainable Power BI assets.

Education: A Bachelor’s degree is required., * Advanced Power BI development and architecture, including advanced DAX, mixed semantic models, and performance optimization.

• Proficiency in data modeling, including dimensional modeling and star schema design.
• Advanced SQL development and query optimization.
• Experience with large-scale analytical data warehouses.
• Experience with HEDIS/Quality reporting and Pharmacy (Rx) and Medical Claims data.
• Familiarity with provider, member, and measure-based reporting., * Power BI certification is preferred.
• Experience with Snowflake is preferred.
• Experience within a healthcare payer environment is preferred.
