Job description
JOB DESCRIPTION Core Tech LLC designs, deploys, and maintains low-voltage systems for commercial and construction clients - IP surveillance, access control, enterprise Wi-Fi, and structured cabling. We’re hiring a Project Manager to own these deployments end to end: scoping and scheduling the work, coordinating installation crews, keeping site supervisors informed, and reporting status up to client executives. This is a hands-on management role. You won’t be pulling cable every day, but you need to understand what’s happening in the rack well enough to catch a problem before it becomes a callback, and to hold a technical conversation with both an electrician and a client’s IT director
Requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Required * 3+ years managing low-voltage, security, AV, or network infrastructure projects - or equivalent field experience with a track record of leading crews. * Working knowledge of IP camera systems, NVR/VMS platforms, PoE, VLANs, and structured cabling standards. * Familiarity with enterprise wireless concepts: SSID/VLAN mapping, AP placement, channel and coverage planning. * Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with two very different audiences - technicians in the field and executives who want risk, cost, and timeline. * Comfortable on active construction sites and coordinating around other trades. * Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and willingness to travel regionally. * Ability to pass a background check (required for client site access on many projects). * Direct experience with Avigilon, UniFi, and/or Fortinet platforms. * Manufacturer certifications (Avigilon, Ubiquiti UEWA/UECS, Fortinet NSE, BICSI). * PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management training. * Experience with access control platforms and credential/licensing administration. * OSHA 10 or OSHA 30. * Estimating and quoting experience. * Bilingual English/Spanish
