Location: Germany, Hamburg - Headquarter tesa SE Level: Working Student Function: Digital & Information Technology Limited Contract: limited to max. 1 year Working Hours: Part-time - max. 18 hrs / week

What you will do

About the Role

  • We are looking for a motivated Working Student (m/f/x) to support a strategic core project by ensuring high-quality data administration, data maintenance, and data analysis. In this role, you will help structure, clean, and manage project data and create a reliable basis for data-driven decisions.
  • You will work in a highly dynamic and positive team environment and contribute directly to a project with high strategic relevance.

Your Responsibilities

  • Maintain and administer project databases, spreadsheets, and documentation (e.g., Excel/SharePoint or similar tools)
  • Ensure data quality through validation, cleansing, and consistent data standards
  • Structure and harmonize datasets from different sources to improve usability and transparency
  • Prepare recurring reports, dashboards, and summaries for project stakeholders
  • Perform exploratory data analysis and support interpretation of results for decision-making
  • Document data definitions, workflows, and change logs to ensure traceability and reproducibility
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members to gather requirements and translate them into data structures and reports
  • You will support the implementation of LIMS and AI solutions for data storage and analysis

Requirements

Do you have experience in SharePoint?, * Enrolled student (m/f/x) in business, engineering, data science, economics, information systems, or a related field, additional technical background is preferred.

  • Strong affinity for working with data and a structured, detail-oriented mindset
  • Good skills in Excel (pivot tables, formulas)
  • Basic knowledge of data analysis methods; experience with Python/R/SQL is a plus
  • High standards for accuracy, data consistency, and documentation
  • Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently
  • Good communication skills in English (German is a plus, depending on team setup)
