z/OS - IBM Storage manager/ Sr Mainframe Systems Programmer

• We are in need of an experienced Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer to join our z/OS team of mainframe systems programmers. Position is for a the primary storage subject matter expert, responsible for the administration, security, performance, and availability of our enterprise storage infrastructure - including IBM DS8000 storage systems, TS7700 virtual tape environments, data lifecycle management, encryption, and backup solutions. This position also includes keeping current support of miscellaneous third-party software products and assisting with other systems support activities as needed. Some travel to our data center in Somerset, New Jersey is required, along with occasional availability outside standard working hours (approximately twice a month maxium).

• Demonstrated experience administering CA/Broadcom storage management products \n

• Strong knowledge of physical storage hardware, FICON, and SAN environments \n

• Effective communication, documentation, and independent problem-solving skills \n

• Ability to research independently with a proactive, solutions-oriented mind-set \n

1. Ability to travel to data center located in Somerset, New Jersey for on-site work as needed \n

2. Must be available to work outside of standard working hours to support and troubleshoot as needed (approximately twice a month) \n
