Job description
- Gather, analyze, and document interface and interoperability requirements.
- Define and maintain interface specifications, data mappings, APIs, and technical documentation.
- Work with REST/SOAP APIs, HL7, FHIR, XML, JSON, EDI/X12, and SFTP integrations.
- Support interface testing, validation, troubleshooting, and production deployments.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and external partners.
- Ensure data integrity, compliance, and adherence to SDLC processes.
Requirements
- 8+ years of IT experience with strong Interface/Data Analysis background.
- Experience with REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, XML, JSON, and SFTP.
- Strong SQL and database validation skills.
- Experience analyzing API requests/responses and troubleshooting integration issues.
- Knowledge of healthcare data exchange and interoperability standards such as HL7 and FHIR.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and encryption concepts.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or Datadog.
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Preferred:
- Healthcare or Health Insurance domain experience.
- Experience with large-scale system integration and data migration projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
