Design Engineer in Sandusky

• Design company products using SolidWorks or other engineering software \n

• Create engineering drawings for use in proposals and manufacturing \n

• Create bills of material and routings for use in cost estimates and manufacturing \n

• Create owner’s manuals, test procedures, and other engineering deliverables as required \n

• Perform engineering computations for sizing equipment components \n

• Provide technical support to shop personnel during manufacturing \n

• Provide field support of company products as required \n

• Perform Lead Engineer role for assigned sales orders including customer interaction, vendor communication, and project management as required \n

• Perform other duties as assigned \n

• Proficient with SolidWorks CAD software \n

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment \n

• Ability to perform fundamental engineering calculations utilizing software applications and/or manual methods \n

• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, sales, manufacturing, and production personnel to meet customer requirements \n

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills \n

• Demonstrates initiative, professionalism, and a solutions-oriented mindset \n, Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related field with a minimum of one (1) year of related experience, or Associate degree in an engineering-related field with four (4) or more years of related experience.
