The Search is a lifestyle and our days are about living it. Here is your chance to join The Search…We are looking for a Web Developer., This position will be integrated into our tight marketing team and will be responsible for keeping a consistent look and feel of Rip Curl through the Internet.

Key areas of responsibility will involve:

• Maintain a consistent look and feel with the Rip Curl Style Guide.
• Combining company goals with web opportunities to design and implement interactive and ecommerce strategies for consumers and channel reseller partners, including email campaigns
• Making sure the company news, team rider profiles, video clips, photos, etc. are posted and up-to-date.
• Managing the images of the latest product lines, while ensuring and facilitating links to all of our online retail partners. Meet with marketing and product teams regularly to ensure timely delivery of content for the web.
• Constantly sustaining and increasing web site traffic growth providing monthly reports and evaluation of statistical data to help identify traffic patterns or trends (visitors).
• Working with marketing managers, sales managers, and product managers on web marketing strategy and action plans for all products.
• Maintaining the monthly newsletter to send to our opted-in audience informing them of the latest products and rider news.

2-3 years experience with web content, marketing, graphics

• the candidates must have excellent writing skill and be proficient in the following: Quicktime, Windows Media Player, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Experience with Final Cut is also strongly encouraged

• Must have a thorough knowledge of existing web development technologies and emerging technologies and a fundamental understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, Flash, RSS, XML and downloadable and streaming media.
• Candidates should have intimate knowledge or strong passion for action sports, specifically within the surf lifestyle
