Power Platform Architect / Technical Lead

Client is seeking an experienced Power Platform Architect / Technical Lead to lead solution architecture, develop prototypes and proofs of value, establish engineering standards, and guide application development across enterprise initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong software development background, hands-on architecture experience, and the ability to translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions. This is a hands-on architecture role requiring expertise in Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, .NET, application integration, automation, and enterprise solution design. The architect will work closely with business stakeholders and a small, distributed technical team to evaluate use cases, design solutions, validate concepts, and oversee implementation., * The position requires working on-site at the World Bank Group location in Washington, DC, four days per week.

• The architect will provide technical leadership to a team of three, including two offshore team members.
• The role requires active participation in architecture, prototyping, solution design, and application development.
• The selected candidate must be comfortable working directly with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Interview Process * First Round: A 30 45-minute video interview focused on technical expertise, architecture experience, and relevant project work.

• Second Round: An in-person, face-to-face interview to further validate the candidate’s technical knowledge, experience, and ability to perform the role.

Both interview rounds will be technical in nature. The emphasis will be on architecture, solution design, technical decision-making, and practical experience rather than live coding exercises. Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a hands-on Power Platform Architect who can move beyond high-level architecture and actively contribute to solution design, prototyping, proofs of value, and application development. The candidate should have a strong understanding of SharePoint and .NET, experience delivering enterprise automation solutions, and the ability to lead a small distributed team. Candidates should demonstrate practical implementation experience and be able to explain their architecture decisions, technical contributions, and delivered business outcomes., * Extensive experience in Microsoft Power Platform architecture and enterprise application development.

• Strong hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and related Power Platform services.
• Demonstrated experience designing and delivering prototypes, proofs of concept, and proofs of value.
• Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, configuration, integration, and application development.
• Solid software development background, including experience with .NET technologies and enterprise application integration.
• Experience identifying, designing, and implementing RPA use cases and workflow automation solutions.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI services, and AI-enabled business solutions.
• Experience with enterprise architecture, solution design, security, governance, and application lifecycle management.
• Ability to assess business requirements and translate them into practical, scalable technical solutions.
• Experience leading technical teams, collaborating with offshore resources, and providing architectural direction.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, technical documentation, and problem-solving skills., * Experience implementing enterprise-scale Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
• Familiarity with Azure services, APIs, connectors, authentication mechanisms, and integration patterns.
• Experience with Power Platform environment strategy, governance, deployment pipelines, and solution management.
• Experience working with distributed development teams and enterprise application modernization initiatives.
