Digital Design Interns

YouRiding is looking for a passionate surfer / bodyboarder to help the team create content and virtual levels for the new YouRiding games.

As a level designer, you’ll work closely with the Game Designer to design virtual waves based on real ones and create game challenges. You’ll also have to manage our relationships with local riders to gather information and content about the waves.

All of our internships are unpaid for course credit only. You will need to be able to prove that you are receiving course credit toward graduation. We offer a flexible schedule that accommodates your school schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the Game Designer to design and build realistic waves
• Create and calibrate waves challenges for the game
• Play test game content, providing and integrating feedback into game play iteration
• Identify and contact local riders to gather content and information about waves all over the world

• A strong surfing and body boarding knowledge
• You should be active in the community, have a genuine passion for the sport and also be as addicted to games and apps as we are!
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and video editing is a plus
• Ability to multitask, organize, set and maintain priorities.

Intellysurf produces and distributes the action sports videogames called YouRiding. Created in 2007 in France, the company is opening a marketing office in Carlsbad, CA USA. Videogames made by riders for riders, YouRiding is a series of realistic games of surfing, body boarding, free skiing and snowboarding gathering more than 100,000 monthly players and action sports fans.
