Job description
- Analyse, design, and continuously optimise SAP PP, PP-PI, PP-DS, and QM processes in close collaboration with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Logistics
- Configure and enhance SAP PP (MRP, master data, production orders), PP-PI (process orders, recipes, master data), PP-DS (detailed scheduling, heuristics, alerts), and QM (inspection planning, quality notifications, results recording) within an S/4HANA environment
- Take ownership of end-to-end production planning and execution processes, from demand planning and scheduling through manufacturing execution to quality inspection
- Ensure seamless integration of PP / PP-PI / PP-DS and QM with related SAP modules such as MM, WM, SD, and FI/CO
- Act as a key business partner, translating requirements into sustainable SAP solutions and ensuring long-term process stability
- Support key users, deliver training sessions, and maintain high-quality process and solution documentation
- Contribute to national and international SAP S/4HANA rollouts, transformation, and optimisation initiatives
- Identify improvement opportunities and drive standardisation and digitalisation initiatives across manufacturing and quality processes
- Take responsibility for second- and third-level support, including root cause analysis and sustainable issue resolution within the SAP PP / PP-PI / PP-DS / QM environment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- Extensive, relevant professional experience as an SAP Consultant with a strong focus on PP / PP-PI / PP-DS and/or QM, ideally within an SAP S/4HANA environment
- In-depth knowledge of SAP PP, PP-PI, PP-DS, and QM
- Solid understanding of manufacturing and quality management processes in discrete and/or process industries
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA conversions, rollouts, or optimisation projects is a strong advantage
- Knowledge of enhancements, BAdIs, and integration scenarios is a plus.
- GLM+ knowledge is considered an asset
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); German language skills are an advantage
- Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and a solution-oriented, independent working style
