AD Server Administrator

Hardening Operations Management Automation Group Policy Collaboration Microsoft 365 Microsoft Teams Solution Design Active Directory Server Migration Operating Systems Solution-Oriented Account Management Windows PowerShell Business Valuation Server Administration Full Stack Development Engineering Management Business Transformation Authentication Protocols Microsoft Windows Server Administration Microsoft Intune (Mobile Device Management Software), We are seeking an Intermediate Server Administrator who has experience migrating AD Servers. This project will be for 6 months at least supporting the AD Server Migration project. They are migrating 80 sites, you will be working with the SR AD Server Engineer who built out the environment and working with them to develop a rinse and repeat plan/script to migrate the 80 sites efficiently and then work through each site till completion. This project is focused on improving security posture, reducing cross-site risk, and implementing best practices across a complex, multi-site environment.

This individual will play a key role in , validation, and implementation of AD enhancements, working closely with teams across IT to ensure minimal business impact.

1) 4-5+ Years of Experience in Active Directory Server Migration: Must have experience doing AD Server Migration,. Migrating 80+ sites. Will be working with Sr. AD Engineer who built out the new server environment and essentially following a rinse and repeat script for the server migration across the 80 sites. Will be working on a team of 5 People.

2) 4-5+ Years of Experience in Windows & Microsoft Environments: Must have the general tech stack knowledge across both. (M365/O365, Group Policy, Intune, AD, etc.)

3) 4-5+ Years of Experience working with Automation Tools & Other Technologies: Powershell, VMware at the least, 7+ years of experience in Active Directory engineering/administration

Deep experience with:

o AD solution design and deployment

o AD hardening and security best practices

o Domain services, replication, and multi-site environments

Hands-on experience with:

o AD tiering models (Tier 0 / Tier 1 / Tier 2 concepts)

o Group Policy Management (GPOs)

o Windows Server administration

Strong scripting experience with PowerShell

Experience supporting or implementing:

o Privileged access controls / PAM integrations

o Service account management and security

Knowledge of DNS, authentication protocols, and AD dependencies

Strong collaboration skills and ability to work across technical and business teams
