The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Windows servers and Desktops, as well as experience managing Windows and automation. This role involves managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security., * 3+ years of experience in server administration, Linux administration, or infrastructure operations

• Experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers
• Experience provisioning, managing, and troubleshooting virtual machines
• Experience with OS patching, upgrades, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of Linux commands, file systems, permissions, processes, services, and system logs
• Knowledge of TCP and IP networking, DNS, SSH, routing, and firewall fundamentals
• Knowledge of security best practices and vulnerability remediation
• Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, KVM, or Red Hat Virtualization
• Experience with Ansible or other configuration management and automation tools
• Experience with SAN and NAS storage, shared storage, and virtual machine backup solutions
• Experience with ITIL processes and enterprise change management
• Knowledge of enterprise monitoring tools and centralized logging solutions
• Knowledge of high availability, clustering, disaster recovery, and business continuity
• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
