Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (Manual + Automation)

The QA engineer will work closely with engineering teams, delivery managers, and clients to ensure software releases meet production standards. Candidates must be comfortable participating in client discussions, explaining testing outcomes, and ensuring quality expectations remain aligned with project scope.

Responsibilities

Own the complete quality assurance lifecycle across client projects

Design and execute manual test plans and structured regression testing

Build and maintain automated test suites for critical workflows

Test web applications, APIs, and backend systems

Validate feature functionality against acceptance criteria

Identify edge cases, performance issues, and system failures

Work closely with developers to diagnose and resolve defects

Document reproducible bugs with clear steps and technical context

Participate in sprint reviews, release readiness checks, and client demos

Provide QA reporting and testing summaries during client-facing meetings

Ensure stable production releases through rigorous testing procedures
