Radar Systems Engineer

The Radar Systems Engineer will define, analyze, integrate, and verify complex radar systems within a multidisciplinary engineering environment. This role directly influences system architecture, technical decisions, customer requirements, and test outcomes, and plays a key part in advancing new product development in the defense sector. Responsibilities

• Define and refine radar system architectures to meet technical and operational requirements.
• Analyze complex radar systems to evaluate performance, identify issues, and propose improvements.
• Develop, decompose, and manage system-level requirements, ensuring traceability from customer needs through to implementation and test.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate radar subsystems into complete solutions.
• Contribute to algorithm development for radar signal processing and system performance enhancement using tools such as MATLAB.
• Support the verification and validation of radar systems, including the planning, execution, and analysis of tests.
• Interpret customer requirements and translate them into clear, testable technical specifications.
• Participate in technical reviews and provide input on key system design and architecture decisions.
• Support new product development activities across the full systems engineering lifecycle, from concept through deployment.

At least 10 years, * 510 years of related radar and/or defense systems experience.

• Strong systems engineering capabilities spanning radar architecture and requirements analysis.
• Hands-on experience with radar systems, including definition, analysis, integration, and verification.
• Proficiency with MATLAB for analysis, modeling, and algorithm development.
• Experience in requirements development and requirements definition for complex systems.
• Background in algorithm development for radar or related defense applications.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams and collaborate across functions., * BS or MS in a relevant technical field (such as electrical engineering, systems engineering, or a related discipline).
• Experience in the defense industry or with defense-related systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills applied to complex technical challenges.
• Clear communication skills for documenting requirements, test results, and design decisions.
