Senior Data/Reporting Analyst$40-$45/hourNear Albany, NY (hybrid; occasional in-office days depending on the project)Contract (through at least the end of 2026, potentially longer)About the RoleOur client is looking for a Senior Data/Reporting Analyst to join their team on a contract basis.

This is a senior-level role for someone with a strong data background who can work independently, translate business needs into reporting solutions, and mentor less experienced analysts.Experience Requirements3+ years of experience executing data analysis and complex reporting solutionsHealthcare or social care industry experience preferred, but not requiredBachelor’s degree in math, statistics, computer science, engineering, or a related field - or an equivalent combination of education and work experience in business, insurance, or a related fieldCritical Hard SkillsStrong SQL skills, at an intermediate proficiency levelExperience with reporting/BI tools such as SSRS, Power BI, or Tableau (any one of these is acceptable)Familiarity with Azure, plus general comfort with internal systems and databasesData manipulation and database management knowledge, including combining and analyzing data across multiple systemsCritical Soft & Functional SkillsData validation and QC, including building testing workflows, peer review, and reconciliationStakeholder translation - turning business asks into report specs and presenting technical results to non-technical audiencesAbility to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritizing work and meeting deadlinesMentorship - guiding and supporting less experienced analystsComfort handling sensitive and private data with strong confidentiality practices
