Domain lead Cloud & Applications - M&A

Client is seeking senior Cloud & Applications Domain Leads to own cloud and application integration activities across Quanta’s acquisition program.

The finalized technical JD is still being developed. The target candidate is a senior cloud/application engineer or architect with strong experience assessing inherited application environments and executing application and cloud migrations within M&A or large-scale transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead discovery of acquired-company cloud and application environments.
• Inventory applications, hosting models, infrastructure dependencies, integrations, databases, authentication dependencies, vendors, and business owners.
• Perform application rationalization and dependency mapping.
• Determine migration, consolidation, remediation, retirement, or coexistence strategies.
• Develop target-state cloud/application architecture.
• Lead application and workload migrations into enterprise-standard environments.
• Coordinate Azure/cloud migration and application modernization activities where applicable.
• Identify dependencies across identity, networking, M365, infrastructure, security, databases and business processes.
• Develop migration sequencing, testing, validation, cutover, rollback, and stabilization plans.
• Coordinate application owners, business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams.
• Remain hands-on enough to troubleshoot migration and integration issues.
• Lead small teams/resources supporting the application workstream.
• Create reusable migration runbooks, dependency maps and integration patterns.

Mergers and Acquisitions, Cloud Applications, Mergers and Acquisitions, Cloud Applications, Willing to Travel, Application Integration, Software Engineering, Candidate Sourcing, Authentication, Application Hosting, * Strong hands-on cloud/application architecture or engineering background.

• Proven application migration/integration experience.
• M&A integration experience strongly preferred.
• Azure strongly preferred; AWS/GCP experience beneficial.
• Application rationalization and dependency mapping.
• Experience assessing inherited or poorly documented application estates.
• SaaS, COTS and custom enterprise application environments.
• Application integrations, APIs and authentication dependencies.
• Cloud migration and workload migration experience.
• Understanding of infrastructure, networking and identity dependencies.
• Experience leading applications through discovery, design, migration, cutover and stabilization.
• Consulting/client-facing delivery experience strongly preferred.
