Job description

Assess on-premises applications for cloud migration readiness.
Containerize and modernize applications built with Ruby on Rails, .NET, Python, and/or Elixir.
Deploy applications to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) using Helm charts and Kubernetes manifests.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
Re-platform legacy applications and integrate Azure Key Vault.
Plan migration cutovers, rollback strategies, and post-deployment validation.
Implement monitoring, observability, and alerting.
Troubleshoot application, container, and networking issues.

Requirements

Software / Platform Engineering Kubernetes in production (2+ years); AKS preferred Azure Cloud Services, Networking, Identity & Key Vault Docker, Helm Charts & Kubernetes Manifests GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps CI/CD Ruby on Rails, .NET, Python, and/or Elixir - strong proficiency in at least one Legacy Application Modernization & Cloud Migration

Nice to Have:

Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
VMware-to-cloud migration
Datadog, PagerDuty, certificate management & mTLS
Healthcare or regulated-industry experience
