This individual will be responsible for improving network reliability, resiliency, scalability, standardization, automation, security, and lifecycle management. MUST HAVE A IN AWS
The Manager will inherit an environment that has evolved through company growth and acquisitions. The immediate objective is to understand the existing environment and its pain points, establish a prioritized modernization roadmap, and move the network toward consistent enterprise architecture and operating standards.
This person will lead approximately three U.S.-based team members and two team members in India. The team includes resources with varying levels of organizational history and technical experience. The manager will need to establish clear ownership, leverage the teams existing knowledge, develop the engineers, and provide technical direction without becoming the primary engineer for all routine work.
The role requires hands-on technical credibility. The Manager should be comfortable reviewing network architecture, challenging routing and resiliency decisions, participating in complex troubleshooting, and joining high-severity incident calls when needed. This is not a role for someone who wants to focus exclusively on personnel management.
Near-term priorities include supporting on-premises-to-AWS migrations, helping separate network environments associated with the companys organizational changes, improving the stability of office and data center networks, identifying low-hanging operational improvements, and creating a longer-term modernization plan.
AWS networking is relatively stable and includes AWS Cloud WAN, centralized networking, a multi-region foundation, and Palo Alto capacity in AWS. Business applications still need broader adoption of multi-region patterns. The greater immediate concern is the maturity and resiliency of the remaining data center and office environments.
The Manager will also assess opportunities to improve configuration management and network automation. We are is open to the appropriate tooling rather than requiring Ansible specifically. The goal is to create controlled, repeatable, and documented network changes using Infrastructure as Code, version control, peer review, or comparable enterprise engineering practices.
The role will partner closely with cloud platform engineering, application teams, architecture, security, infrastructure, network operations, and business stakeholders. The individual will help maintain current operations while building a more resilient, observable, automated, and enterprise-ready network environment. The formal position also includes lifecycle management, data center decommissioning, incident readiness, disaster recovery, operational documentation, carrier management, and executive reporting.

Network infrastructure, BGP, AWS NETWORKING, PALO ALTO, ENTERPRISE NETWORK ARCHITECTURE, NETWORK AUTOMATION, IAC, DATA CENTER NETWORKING, megaport, ANSIBLE, TERRAFORM, AWS CLOUD WAN, EXPRESSROUTE, NEW RELIC, CI/CD, Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
