Senior IT Systems SpecialistScottsdale, Arizona, United StatesWhat The Role IsReporting to the Manager, Operations IT, the Senior IT Systems Specialist designs, implements, administers, and supports Clearway’s Operational IT systems. Responsibilities include collaborating with business stakeholders to enhance existing systems and contribute to the team and organization’s continuous improvement objectivesThis hybrid role will be located in our Scottsdale, AZ office.

If you don’t meet 100% of the qualifications but see yourself contributing, please submit your resumeWhat You’ll Be DoingParticipate in the implementation of technical solutions for Business OperationsCoordinate to identify, prioritize, and manage Operations IT projects and technology tasksDevelop procedures, processes, and applications necessary to provide safe and secure operations systems that meet reliability and regulatory standardsProactively recognize and document business process gaps, propose and implement improvementsProvide support for System Operators and Generation Dispatch, and Power Marketing personnelEffectively apply appropriate project and development methodology and follow project and development standardsMinimize and manage exposure and risk on project and production tasksMaintain appropriate status reports and meeting minutes, and follow up with business partners, vendors, and internal resources.What You’ll BringBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Power Systems Engineering required3+ years of systems and applications development, configuration, implementation, and support experience required3+ years’ experience with an array of software development technologies required3+ years’ experience with power systems-related applications in power generation or distribution required3+ years of experience with SCADA/EMS/GMS systems required (example: ABB Ranger/Network Manager, OSI Monarch)Must know interfaces, integrations, and process flowsSolid understanding of SDLC and experience in adopting and working in multiple project management methodologiesIntermediate level skills in implementing, supporting, enhancing, and maintaining complex large-scale production-critical applications in Cloud and data center-hosted environmentsExcellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills with a strong focus on customer interaction, customer service, and presentationA motivated self-starter with the capability to operate on their own with little direction and/or monitoringCapability to help deliver quality business solutions within restricted timelines while appropriately communicating/escalating risks, issues, or constraints as necessary to business and/or IT managementAbility to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, business partners, and other departmentsAbility to effectively prioritize organizational skills to execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucialAbility to read the communication styles of team members, business partners, and contractors from a broad spectrum of disciplines and change the delivery of communication accordingly.What Would Be NiceMaster’s degree preferredClearway will not sponsor non-immigrant visas for this position (H-1B, TN, E-3, etc.).The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, relevant and demonstrated experience, education, training and certifications, and other factors permitted by law.

This role is eligible to earn an annual cash bonus, subject to personal and company performance goals.Salary Range Across all U.S. Locations$110,000 - $120,000 USD
