DOE IT Project Manager

Project managers bring their organizational savvy to the entire project life cycle, from planning and resource allocation to execution and stakeholder communications. A Senior IT Project Manager makes an impact as a seasoned, professional individual contributor, ready to manage projects, work independently, help teammates thrive and collaborate with stakeholders across the company.Senior Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that projects are completed successfully, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, while managing risks, stakeholders, and resources effectively. The candidate must be familiar with Planview tool and have knowledgeable in AGILE and Waterfall methodologies.Project Planning: Develop a comprehensive project plan that outlines the project scope, objectives, timelines, budget, and resources required to complete the project successfully.Project Execution: Manage the project team and ensure that all project activities are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring that the project stays on track and within budget.Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, core team members, extended project team to ensure that project goals are met.Communication: Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including senior management, project sponsors, and team members.Resource Management: Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure that they are used effectively and efficiently.Quality Management: Ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards and that project processes are followed consistently.Change Management: Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, or budget, ensuring that they are properly documented and approved.Project Closure: Ensure that all project deliverables are completed, and that the project is closed out in a timely and efficient manner.5 to 10 years of Project Management experienceExperience of managing Finance system projects is preferredMinimum experience with 5 full Project Life Cycles (preferably with MNCs)Experience with both Waterfall and AGILE methodologiesExpertise in using Project Planning Management toolExcellent communication skills (verbal and written) to clearly and concisely convey information to stakeholders of all levelsStrong leadership skills, ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project goalsGood time management skills to be able to manage your own time and time of team members to ensure project deadlines are metProblem solving skills to be able to effectively identify and solve problems that arise during the project, including to think creatively, identify potential solutions and make informed decisionsAbility to work in fast paced dynamic environment, working independently with proactive approach to tasksBachelors Degree required5 to 10 years’
