Staff Software Engineer

Serve as a senior technical leader who coaches other engineers, guides design decisions and moves large cross-system projects forward.What You’ll DoDesign and run a double-entry ledger and a next-generation account model built on immutable events and derived balances.Own the full flow of money through the platform, including posting and adjustment logic, account ledgers, bank reconciliation and reporting.Reconcile several independent sources of financial data and flag discrepancies early.Scale idempotent, explainable transaction pipelines to high volumes using reversal semantics rather than editing records.Operate critical systems on very large relational tables, handling safe migrations, backfills, monitoring and incident response.Raise the standard for observability and operational readiness, including logging, tracing, dashboards, alerting, service level objectives and safe rollouts.Coach senior engineers, lead design reviews and give clear, honest feedback.Drive large, multi-system
