Senior Automation Testing Lead

The Senior Automation Testing Lead will lead automation testing efforts for a critical healthcare system, supporting the development and implementation of comprehensive testing strategies. This role focuses on ensuring system quality through automated testing, functional and integration testing, healthcare claims processing validation, and HIPAA X12 EDI transaction testing., * Assess the testability of business requirements and develop test cases based on Business Requirements and Software Design Documents.

• Execute functional, integration, and regression tests to validate system functionality.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts and test suites.
• Perform testing of EDI applications, including HIPAA X12 EDI transactions.
• Develop and execute test scripts for transactions such as 837I, 837P, and NCPDP D.0.
• Develop SQL queries to support testing, validation, and data analysis.
• Review, analyze, and report test results, identifying and documenting defects.
• Utilize test and defect management tools to track testing activities and issues.
• Test web applications and validate healthcare claims processing functionality.
• Collaborate with business teams to develop business and quality assurance documentation.
• Work with end users to ensure user acceptance testing is thorough and complete.
• Apply Agile methodologies to support testing activities and project delivery.

Test Automation, Test Strategy, HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), Test Automation, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Integration Testing, Claims Processing, Healthcare, Functional Testing, System Validation, * 2 years of experience developing and executing test scripts related to X12 EDI transmissions, such as 837I, 839, and NCPDP D.0.

• 2 years of demonstrated proficiency conducting quality assurance and testing on EDI applications.
• 5 years of experience assessing the testability of requirements and developing test cases based on Business Requirements and Software Design Documents.
• 5 years of experience executing functional, integration, and regression tests.
• 3 years of experience with healthcare claims processing testing.
• 3 years of experience reviewing, analyzing, and reporting test results.
• 3 years of experience testing web applications.
• 2 years of experience developing SQL queries.
• 1 year of experience scripting automated test suites.
• 2 years of experience working with business teams to write business and QA documentation.

Preferred Skills

• 2 years of experience with test and defect management tools, such as Client ALM and JIRA.
• 2 years of knowledge of Agile methodology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to both technical and business audiences.
