Technology Supervisor

The Technology Supervisor directs technical operations, maintaining reliable infrastructure and system functionality across the district. Responsibilities include supervising local and cloud-based platforms, network defense, and tech personnel to advance academic objectives and preserve team performance., * Systems & Network Oversight: Oversee hybrid network operations including servers, cloud environments, Wi-Fi coverage, and telecommunications.

• Security & Statutory Compliance: Enforce web filtering, firewall protections, and data privacy standard operating procedures in alignment with state and federal regulations.
• Personnel Direction & Support Services: Direct and evaluate technical staff to maintain prompt ticket resolution and support district operations efficiently.
• Planning & Fiscal Oversight: Formulate technology replacement schedules, manage software licensing, and prepare technical data for budgeting and E-Rate filings.
• Data Protection & Issue Resolution: Establish backup routines, maintain business continuity strategies, and address complex technical challenges as required.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Satisfactory completion of criminal background checks (BCI/FBI).

Desired Credentials:

• College degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant area.
• CETL (Certified Education Technology Leader) designation preferred.
• Five years of successful leadership in information systems management.
• Demonstrated organizational, communication, and managerial strengths.
