Job description

• Document and support DHS network infrastructure with a strong focus on Juniper routing and switching (configs, routing, protocols, SOPs).
• Provide daily network operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting in Juniper-based environments.
• Support network refresh, modernization, upgrades, and new Juniper deployments.
• Collaborate with government staff, contractors, cybersecurity, vendors, and IT teams.
• Develop SOPs, technical documentation, and after-action reports.

Requirements

• Possess 15 years’ experience in troubleshooting & supporting end-user and/or systems requiring timely solutions.
• Possess 10 years of demonstrated expertise in LAN, WAN, MAN, load balancing & Wireless administration.
• Strong network engineering experience in secure environments with hands-on Juniper Networks technologies.
• 5+ years of expertise in Juniper routers and switches, including troubleshooting and support.
• Knowledge of Verizon & AT&T WAN (MPLS, vBNS), circuit management, and escalations.
