Net Developer

Immediate need for a talented .Net Developer. This is a 06+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Richmond, VA(Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested., * Design, develop, configure, and maintain applications and backend systems using current coding practices and industry standards.

• Perform end-to-end system analysis to understand application functionality, dependencies, and business processes.
• Translate business requirements and user stories into technical designs, application features, and backend solutions.
• Independently implement features from the product backlog and deliver assigned work within established timelines.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and business stakeholders to understand functional and technical requirements.
• Estimate the effort and complexity of user stories, requirements, and development tasks.
• Perform unit testing, execute testing activities, and automate test cases where applicable.
• Troubleshoot application issues, resolve incidents, and provide ongoing production support and maintenance.
• Participate in design reviews and code reviews to ensure software quality and compliance with established standards.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, architecture, UI/UX, and other technical teams to deliver effective solutions.
• Mentor junior software engineers and support team members with system analysis, development, and estimation activities.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, support documents, and project artifacts.
• Identify opportunities to improve application performance, stability, maintainability, and operational efficiency.

• 5+ years of experience in application support, software development, or systems analysis.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, SQL Server, and relational databases.
• Experience building and supporting REST APIs and system integrations.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular or similar front-end frameworks.
• Experience supporting Windows-based applications in an enterprise environment.
• Proficiency with Git, SDLC processes, troubleshooting, and technical documentation.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Nice to have: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Pay Range: $60/hr - $65/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
