Systems Administrator

Kforce has a client in South Bend, IN that is seeking a Systems Administrator., * Nautilus Administration & Support: Provide day-to-day administration and support for the Nautilus environment, including troubleshooting user issues, resolving system errors, and addressing application-related tickets

• Technical Troubleshooting: Investigate issues such as missing reports, report-generation failures, access problems, and other system or programming-related errors
• Cross-Training & Knowledge Transfer: Participate in extensive cross-training, expected to comprise approximately 40-60% of the role, to develop a strong understanding of the current environment, system configuration, and supporting processes
• System Integrations & APIs: Understand how upstream programs and applications interact with Nautilus, including API integrations, data flows, and the processes that determine what information is sent to the system
• Process Optimization: Evaluate existing workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce recurring issues, and make better use of Nautilus functionality
• Strategic System Evaluation: Help assess whether Nautilus continues to meet business needs or whether alternative solutions, configurations, or approaches should be considered
• Documentation & Operational Improvement: Develop an understanding of the current environment, document processes, and recommend improvements to system support and administration

• Experience administering and supporting Nautilus
• Background in systems administration, application support, or enterprise application management
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with APIs, application integrations, or data flows
• Ability to learn complex technical environments and understand how interconnected systems operate
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with technical teams and end users
• A continuous-improvement mindset with an interest in moving beyond reactive support toward proactive system optimization

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with C# applications or familiarity with C# programming concepts
• Experience supporting document management, document storage, or records management systems
• Familiarity with report generation, application configuration, and user access management
• Experience evaluating system capabilities and recommending process or technology improvements

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
