Job description

  • Serve as governance team’s standing Data Architecture Review Board (DARB) representative - all new data initiatives affecting governed domains must pass a governance architecture review before DARB approval
  • Evaluate architectural fit of new tools against Lumen’s multi-platform data estate; flag integration complexity and dependency risk in Track 1 assessments
  • Partner with Data Engineering EA on migration architecture providing governance embedded by design, with checkpoints in CDW-to-Databricks and other active migration SOWs
  • Author and maintain governance architecture decision records in SharePoint
  • Advise the Director, Data Governance Technology on platform architectural trade-offs in vendor evaluations

Requirements

  • 10+ years in enterprise data architecture with governance-by-design orientation
