Cloud Engineer / Azure DevOps Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer / Azure DevOps Engineer to join an enterprise Azure platform engineering environment. In this role, you will design, implement, automate, and maintain secure, scalable, and reliable cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies. You will focus on enterprise Azure platform engineering, including Azure Landing Zones, Infrastructure as Code, governance, and the development of self-service cloud capabilities that enable internal DevOps teams to consume Azure services efficiently and securely. Working closely with developers, architects, and other platform engineering teams, you will help improve developer experience, standardize cloud infrastructure, and accelerate the adoption of modern cloud engineering practices., * Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable Azure cloud solutions.

• Create high-level and low-level technical designs and architecture diagrams.
• Design and implement enterprise-scale Azure Landing Zones following Microsoft’s Cloud Adoption Framework.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep, and PowerShell.
• Develop and optimize Azure DevOps YAML pipelines for automated infrastructure provisioning and deployment.
• Implement Azure Policies and governance controls to ensure security, compliance, and standardization.
• Design and build self-service Azure capabilities for internal DevOps and development teams.
• Develop reusable platform products, automation templates, APIs, and integration patterns.
• Manage and support Azure services, including AKS, Azure Virtual Machines, networking, Azure Monitor, Entra ID, and Azure SQL.
• Embed security, identity, networking, monitoring, and compliance controls into Azure platform solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Azure environments for performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to continuously improve platform capabilities and developer experience.
• Contribute to the modernization of platform engineering practices, including Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and automation., * Opportunity to work on enterprise-scale Microsoft Azure platform engineering solutions.

• At least 7 years of experience in Azure engineering or a related technical field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including:

• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Azure Virtual Machines
• Azure networking
• Azure Monitor
• Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD and IAM
• Azure SQL
• Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale Azure Landing Zones following Microsoft’s Cloud Adoption Framework.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep, and PowerShell.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with Azure Policies and cloud governance.
• Strong expertise in Azure DevOps YAML pipelines.
• Experience developing reusable infrastructure templates, automation solutions, and self-service cloud capabilities.
• Understanding of cloud security, identity management, compliance, networking, and observability.
• Strong automation and development mindset.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively with developers, architects, and other cross-functional platform teams.
